Junaid Jamshed unveils ‘Season 2’
Junaid Jamshed, the renowned fashion designer, has launched his much awaited ‘Season 2’ summer collection for fashion connoisseurs in the UAE. Taking inspiration from traditional Pakistani art forms, the latest collection exudes vibrancy, enormity and a splash of colours.
The exotic new collection is now available at all J.dot outlets in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. The floral motifs, ethnic designs, threadwork and geometric shapes are blended with soothing lawn patterns in mango mint, rose pink, peach, black and white and coffee hues – promising grace, style and élan.
Lawn is a distinct lightweight fabric known for its soothing properties which makes it the perfect wear for summer in the UAE. The exquisite lawn prints feature flower work which is a traditional art form originating from the Punjab region of Pakistan. The embroidery is elaborate and is handmade creating flower motifs in red, white, black and brown colours. The folk art form is also enthused in the collection where the patterns are more intricate and colourful. For the lovers of tradition, there are ethnic outfits, comprising of suits in stylish long sleeves and close neck pattern with beautiful embroidery and lace work.
Ahmed Samir, COO of Junaid Jamshed, said, “We experienced tremendous response for our ‘Season 1’ collection launched in March. To fulfil the demand of our patrons we have launched ‘Season 2’.”
