A nature reserve is expected to open in Sharjah in October offering residents and tourists an opportunity to learn more about local wildlife and their habitat. With all the attractions the country has to offer, what attraction would you like to see built here and why do you think tourists would be drawn to it?
Sana Ali I think we should have more of the underwater habitat as people just don't care about their life and take fishing as a sport which is reckless, I have been seeing oil spilt on the lake in Dubai Festival City, seeing that just shattered me that what if we would be in there place? Many of the fishes don't deserve to die. We should learn about them so we can make this world a safe and better place to live without any living being envying any one.
Carolin Pukallus If it is a nature reserve - nature should come first, visitors after...shall it be a tourist attraction? I believe it's a very difficult task to find a "healthy" balance between a tourist attraction and a nature reserve - if it is just another kind of "zoo", where visitors (and merchandise) come first, I don't see any need for it. And if it is a wild life reserve, then one should not care what tourists want to see but which animals are living there by nature...and give enough space for animals to hide, escape, run away - not really what many tourist will like, who come and pay to see.
Castine Hernandez Jungle like...that has some activities that tourist can enjoy...like zip line, bungee jumping or plunge...team building from some offices can also enjoy it...
Clen Nicolas I'd be interested if they would put up an ANT Colony or a Bee hive. Understanding how these little warriors make up a living has never been so far quite an attraction else where so Sharjah might be the first on it.

When it comes to ancient medicinal remedies, some can seem quite shocking - such as the flesh of stillborn babies ground to a powder and offered as a pill to ward off disease. Do you think there are ethical implications to consuming such pills, or would you be willing to consume anything to ward off infection, in spite of no proof of effectiveness?

June As the phrase goes "medicinal remedies" often times results in unhealthy short term cure, why gamble in some medicinal shortcut when we can afford for a balance and effective modern medicine and it so sad to hear that some of us still practice barbaric methods of curing some illnesses... Especially the recent news about stillborn babies ground to powder into capsule, they (people who take these capsule) are no different with "cannivals" in the old times.

Mulindwa Ibrahim Senior When u try to analyse critically ancient medicine worked like for example in my country uganda herbal medicne was always recommended it worked that was done without proof just as i would .its just because of modernity that some people may not take it.
