Ramadan has come to a close, the weather appears to be cooling down, and many people are back to work after a long weekend. How did you spend Eid al-Fitr?
Azmat Lodhi It was great time with my family instead of going out and face the humidity we enjoyed at home only. Giving lot of time to kids playing with them spending time with wife eating good good food and lastly having a good long sleep to relax
Fatima Suhail Eid is an occasion, we all look forward too. We celebrated this Eid by making a quick trip to Kalba - Fujairah and then wrapping it up by having dinner at a Dubai-based mall. The previous night, we had prepared most of the sweets and dishes for Eid and also got done with our henna. It was a great day altogether !
Jhiey Tee as i am living alone here in dubai, i spent my day at home and relax from my stressful work. i went to church give thanks for the blessings that i received. had a bonding with my friends whom i didnt see for quite sometime due to busy work schedule. and went to GYM to keep healthy and fit
Mohammed Muzammil Eid-Ul-Fitr, this year went bad for me.. We just headed out to the malls and restaurants and did shopping and eating after a long month of fasting. Because it was so humid, we just stayed inside cool areas.. Hope in Eid Al Adha we can enjoy in parks..
Pul Bhatia Watching the men in their best pathani's and joining hands towards their GOD, was a marvelous scenario to be witnessed as a sign of their remarkable religious culture and dedication towards the almighty at the Zabeel mosque on SUNDAY morning, this being a perfect start to my day, i went of to the beach , with my father and had the most relaxed and 'not gossiped about' chit-chat session with him. This government holiday and Eid celebration didn't just bring the anxiety of joy to me but also a relaxed mind resulting in completely low procastinations in various aspects of life.
Sadaka Sadakath It was too hot to go outside. I spend my eid ul fitar with my friends in our room by cooking delicious foods and telephoning my wife and relatives all day. and am waiting for a cool atmosphere celebration next time in D
Nelson Sanchez for the past 4 years, my group would normally hit the road and go out of town. but not this time, i just spend it inside my room...do general cleaning, cook out festival with my roommates then i found myself back in the arms of my bass guitar, pump the amp and strike the chord in full swing...this year's Eid however leads me back to what i really love to do.

The world's cheapest car, the Nano (Dh9,382), is set to have one more crack at the market following at least three of the cars catching on fire. Do you think, with prices so low, that corners have been cut when it comes to safety, and would you be willing to buy one?
Czar Johnlloyd Alde Portugal why not....imagine its cheapest car i have seen....it is good for the people a chance to buy....as long as the quality of the car parts are in good condition.
Clen David
I'd never steer a cheap wheel that would compromise my safety. I'd rather commute if that'll be the case.
Mohammed Muzammil No, because I already have a car and if the qualities are far more better, people will surely put their hands on it. Yes, it is a whole lot safer car. With poor qualities compared to today's modern cars, they will have a minimum average approximately from 60-180. But as people of today, we tend to buy fashionable cars so these cars may not have a place in the modern era..
Ehsan Wani it is a good one i have tested nano is -6 temp freezing cold n on a road with lot of ice n snow i mean to say in.harsh winter wen others engine gets jammed etc its interiors n design is good n.in.dubai it will b great to drive nano save time n money...
Vijay Krishnani It's funny bt Real, The price of d car z cheaper dn getin a license in Dubai. What I think if out of 100, 99.99% nano dsnt hav problm dn I m ready to tak risk on .01% .. Even I will gift it to ma friens..

Yesterday, only six days after failing in his bid to be euthanised, Tony Nicklinson died. Do you think that assisted suicide is acceptable in certain circumstances? Where would you draw the line?
Clen David If the dying person asked for it, then it must be acceptable than let him live in indignity and misery.
Farah Raza No one has the right to take his or her own life or someone to make a descion for ending anyones life...God has given u life and HE will take it when HE ordains....yes he was suffering and that too is from God...endurance and test is part of human cycle...I feel people who have no faith give up onlife too soon....Im sorry I do not agree with anyone asking for Euthanasia. May Allah give strength to his family for this loss...
Daisy Dian Omega Sostino-Bartolini ..if you find the person is hopeless so why prolonging the agony, it must be an acceptable suicide assistance.
Bejealaine Tamondong De Leon Accepting the unacceptable can never happen. Life's a gift. So with assisted suicide it'll be like tolerating one not to unwrap his gift which is considered as the most wonderful present we have.
Mohammed Muzammil Suicide is not a good thing to do in our life. Suicide is common during this century. Some people do this because they cannot payback the debts leaving the family go homeless.. Life cannot be wasted by breaking your life. It is a gift by god so you have take care of your life just like taking care of some precious thing..
Jhun Cruz there are times that even though we see our loved ones suffering too much pain and misery and know that it is just a matter of time, we still wanted them to be with us. provide them relief as much as we can in whatever way we can. euthanasia is subjected to one's moral judgement. there is no clear line to which it can be drawn.
Ocsicnarf Ayasayas Zerep Even if it is done in good cause, it still is ending one's life. The end does not justify the mean. No one on earth has the right to end someone's life.

Different from all the past 10 years that I have spent in the gulf, this Ramadan gave me an opportunity to be involved in a charity - Adopt a Camp - held on 9th Aug at DWTC - i thoroughly enjoyed the event and felt happy that I could be part of those labourers' happiness. For Eid, we had plans to go to Salalah but when I checked with a relative there, he said it was already over-crowded from a month ago, hence everything was indoors!!
