Modhesh World moves to DWTC
Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE), the organiser of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), is putting the finishing touches to one of its star summer attractions - ' Modhesh World – which this year moves to a new location at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
Modhesh World is a family destination during the summer and will be open to visitors from June 14 to August 25, 2012. It will be open from 10am – 10pm, Saturday-Wednesday, and till 12 midnight on Thursdays and Fridays.
Launched in 2000, Modhesh World welcomed half-a-million visitors last year. The family entertainment theme-park hosts exciting zones, in addition to international cartoon and stage shows – all of which are housed in a fully air-conditioned, child-safe environment.
Laila Mohammed Suhail, CEO of DEPE said: “Modhesh World is a major attraction that supports Dubai’s position as an attractive family destination for summer vacationers. The edutainment venue has built a well-deserved reputation as a great destination for both residents and visitors looking for fun and affordable family entertainment.”
She added: “Modhesh World moves this year to DWTC, placing it in the heart of the city and within easy access of the Dubai Metro Station [World Trade Centre]. We have also invested in amenities to ensure that families have a Modhesh World experience that is not only fun but convenient as well.”
