Viu, a leading video-on-demand platform, has launched the second season of its marquee cricket-comedy chat show, ‘What The Duck’.

The bi-weekly show went live on June 5 on the Viu app. The first season which debuted last year created quite a loyal audience in the digital world with its unique content and distribution strategy.

The show, hosted by Vikram Sathaye, cricket presenter and stand-up comedian, was well received by viewers, paving the way for season two that promises to be quirkier, bigger and better.

What The Duck brings together the best of both worlds, comedy and cricket – two highest consumed genres in India. The show gave viewers a glimpse into the normal life of the boys in blue in a never seen before avatar.

What The Duck 2 showcases rib tickling interviews of 13 cricket stars. The legends to grace the show include Sir Vivian Richards and Kapil Dev while the young cricketers who feature in this season includes R Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Hardik Pandya, Cheteshwar Pujara and more.

The series provide great insights into the lighter side of cricket and the men who play the game as the host Vikram Sathaye is able to draw out unique stories on their tours, dressing room secrets, match experiences, personal traits and many funny moments.
